Mississippi International Air Cargo Facility Apron & Taxiway Enhancements Jackson-Evers International Airport
The project consisted of construction of the base, subbase, paving, lighting and signage for apron and taxiway connecting to Runway 16R/34L at the Mississippi International Air Cargo Center, construction of a private access road from Weather Service Road to the site and the construction of a tug road from the terminal apron to the Mississippi Air Cargo Center.

The project involved construction of a 500 ft. runway extension to the north end of runway 18/36, and an approximate 700 ft. runway extension to the south end of runway 18/36 for an overall increase from the existing runway length of 3,800 ft. to the proposed runway length of 5,000 ft. The project also includes an increase in the width of the runway from the existing 50 ft. to the proposed 75 ft. runway width.

The East Parallel Taxiway Rehabilitation project provided Evaluation, Design, Bidding and Construction phase services in connection with the construction of the widening, rehabilitation and overlay of the East Parallel taxiway to include improvements to the taxiway edge lighting and signage.
