This policy describes the privacy practices of Waggoner Engineering, Inc. (referred to in this privacy policy statement as "Waggoner," “we,” or “us”), with respect to its web site (the "Waggoner Web Site") and related electronic communications with you. We are aware of the privacy concerns of our online visitors. We share your concerns and are committed to protecting your privacy.
This privacy policy is applicable only to the Waggoner Web Site and does not apply to any third party web sites or to other companies or persons. The Waggoner Web Site may contain links to, and media and other content from, other sites. In addition, such third-party media and content may also contain external links. Because of the dynamic media capabilities of the Waggoner Web Site, it may not be clear to you which links are embedded in the Waggoner Web Site and which are embedded in third-party media and/or content. Waggoner cannot and does not guarantee the privacy policies and practices of any third party. Waggoner does not control, operate, or endorse any information, products, or services of any third-party web sites that may be reached through links from the Waggoner Web Site. The use of any personal information provided to such a third party will be governed by that party's privacy policy. Waggoner may change this privacy policy from time to time. The revised policy will be posted on the Waggoner Web Site. You should check this page periodically for changes.
This privacy policy does not apply to information disclosed to or obtained by Waggoner other that through the Waggoner Web Site.
Information We Collect
Waggoner does not collect PII about you through the Waggoner Web Site unless you provide us that information voluntarily. Visitors may use portions of the Waggoner Web Site without registering or providing PII.
Waggoner may use certain technology on the Waggoner Web Site to collect information from visitors and compile aggregate statistical information about how the Waggoner Web Site is used, including without limitation information relating to the frequency of visits, the average length of visits, which pages are viewed during a visit, and the links to other web sites invoked during a visit, the domain name and IP address from which visitors are connecting, and the type and version of web browser, but it is not personally identifiable except as described below regarding IP addresses ("Aggregate Data"). In addition, Waggoner may take your personal information and create anonymized information by excluding information (such as your user name) that makes it personally identifiable to you ("Anonymized Data").
Waggoner may compile logs of IP addresses of visitors for administrative and analytical purposes. Waggoner does not routinely collect any PII through its compilation of IP addresses or the locations of computers on the Internet, but in cases of suspected violation of the Agreement or service problems, Waggoner may use an IP address in conjunction with other PII to enforce the Agreement and/or to protect or troubleshoot the Waggoner Web Site, its users, or others who may be affected. Except as otherwise provided in this privacy policy or the Agreement, Waggoner will not share with third parties any PII associated with IP addresses.
We may record information about your usage, such as when and how you use the Waggoner Web Site. We may use clear GIFs (also called web beacons) in HTML-based e-mails sent to our users to track which e-mails are opened by recipients.
Waggoner also may use cookies on the Waggoner Web Site. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer's hard drive by our servers to identify your computer to our servers. Except as otherwise provided in this privacy policy or the Agreement, no PII stored in the Waggoner cookies will be shared with outside companies for any purpose without your permission. You can disable cookies or otherwise manage them through tools provided with your browser software and with third-party software packages, or not use the features that require cookies, but if you choose to reject our cookies, some areas of the Waggoner Web Site may not function properly.
We and our advertisers may use third-party companies to serve ads when you visit the Waggoner Web Site. These third-party ad-serving companies may also place cookies on your computer. Sometimes these cookies may be used to provide targeted advertising to you. These advertising companies may also use Web beacons to help manage and optimize our online advertising.
Waggoner may use the information it collects, including without limitation your personal information, Aggregate Data, and Anonymized Data, for any lawful purpose that does not involve disclosure in contravention of this privacy policy, including without limitation, to enhance and improve our services, to provide customized advertising to you, to conduct research, to determine your geographic location or other demographic information about you, and to analyze usage patterns.
Waggoner reserves the right to send you certain communications relating to the Waggoner Web Site such as service announcements and administrative messages.
Information We Share
Unless we have your consent, it is our policy not to sell, rent, license, or provide personal information about you to any unaffiliated third party unless we are required to do so by judicial, legal, or other government proceedings or we have a duty to do so. In the course of our business, we may share some or all of the information described above among our affiliates.
Waggoner may share PII with third-party service providers who help us in the operation of the Waggoner Web Site and who have agreed to maintain the confidentiality of the data, and with other third parties to offer products or services that may complement your relationship with us. Waggoner also may access or disclose PII or non-PII Profile information without providing you notice or a choice in order to protect or defend the legal rights or property of Waggoner, our affiliates, or their employees, agents and contractors (including enforcement of our agreements); to protect the safety and security of users of the Waggoner Web Site or members of the public, including acting in urgent circumstances; to protect against fraud or for risk management purposes; or to comply with the law or legal process. In addition, if Waggoner sells all or part of its business or makes a sale or transfer of all or a material part of its assets or is otherwise involved in a merger or transfer of all or a material part of its business, Waggoner may transfer your PII to the party or parties involved in the transaction as part of that transaction.
Non-U.S. Users
Waggoner is hosted and operated entirely in the United States and is subject to United States law. Any personal information that you provide to Waggoner or through the Waggoner Web Site is being provided solely in the United States and will be hosted on United States servers. If you are accessing the Waggoner Web Site from outside the United States, please be advised that United States law may not offer the same privacy protections as the law of your jurisdiction.
