Waggoner Engineering, a full-service economic development, program management and engineering firm, has added Carl Eifert as a new engineering intern in the firm’s civil/structural/aviation division.

In his role, Eifert will assist the department in the execution of various projects including roadway rehabilitations, site developments, airport improvements, storm water management facilities, and various other infrastructure projects. He will be responsible for planning, designing, drafting, and assisting with project management within the division.

“We welcome Carl to the Waggoner team,” said Brian Nettles, director of civil/structural/aviation division. “His education from both the U.S. Air Force Academy and Mississippi State set Carl apart from his peers.  We are excited about the new elements Carl adds to our ability to serve our clients.”

Eifert’s previous experience includes participating in the Air Force Academy Field Engineering Readiness Laboratory and in civil engineering professional development program at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska. He attended the Air Force Academy and received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Mississippi State University. Eifert is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
