JACKSON, Miss. – September 27, 2018 – Waggoner Engineering, a full-service economic development, planning, program management, geospatial and engineering firm, officially opened its newest office in Vicksburg on Thursday, September 27. This Vicksburg office is the firm’s fourth branch in Mississippi. Waggoner also serves clients from offices in New Orleans, La.; Ruston, La.; Memphis, Tenn. and Washington, D.C.

“At Waggoner, we’re committed to serving not just cities, but communities as a whole,” said Joe Waggoner, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Waggoner Engineering, Inc. “We’re excited to open this new branch in Vicksburg, in order to extend our reach to better serve communities throughout west Mississippi and into Louisiana.”

The firm’s new office is located in Downtown Vicksburg at 1414 Washington Street. Waggoner also just signed a road resurfacing project with the city of Vicksburg.

“We’re looking forward to expanding our relationship with the city of Vicksburg,” said Waggoner Engineering President, Emad Al-Turk. “This area has seen a great deal of growth in recent years, and we’re excited to contribute to such a vibrant community.”

Two current Waggoner team members, Eric Jefferson and Ayad Taofik, will serve as the as client account managers for the Vicksburg office. In this role, Jefferson and Taofik will be responsible for managing new and existing client accounts while maintaining client satisfaction.
