JACKSON, Miss. – December 3, 2018 – Waggoner Engineering, is excited to welcome Anna Faloon, Ph.D., PE, as a project engineer in Hydrology and Hydraulics.

After graduating from the University of Maine, she started her career as a Civil Engineer for WBRC Architects / Engineers in Bangor, Maine before returning to school at Texas A&M University earning a Doctor of Philosophy, Civil Engineering.

Prior to joining Waggoner, she worked for the US Army Engineer Research and Development Center, Coastal and Hydraulics Lab as a Research Hydraulic Engineer specializing in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, extreme hydrology, and sustainable design.

Her projects include constructing and calibrating two Gridded Surface Subsurface Hydrologic Analysis models of a Rio Grande tributary basin to demonstrate pre-wildfire and post-wildfire hydrologic conditions and performing Monte Carlo analysis for flow probabilities of Mississippi River and major tributaries.

She was also deployed to Florida to assist with Hurricane Irma disaster relief efforts with the USACE Blue Roof Temporary Roofing mission.
