Ridgeland officials broke ground on a 25-acre site Friday. The $11.1 million project is part of a Master Plan first conceived in 2008, with no additional tax burden on residents. Waggoner has been involved from the beginning with design and planning.
The plans call for an energy-efficient building and the city will allow some retail space in the complex. Completion is slated for late 2020.
Mayor Gene McGee says this is all part of a Master Plan first conceived in 2008, with no additional tax burden on residents.
“We look at quality commercial development along with quality residential development and blend those together so that way, our citizens don’t get burdened with additional taxes.”
