JACKSON, Miss. – January 6, 2020 – Waggoner Engineering announced today that Ryan Herndon has been promoted to Strategic Services/Government Relations Manager. In his new role, Herndon will manage our strategic services and government relations activities, including supporting clients, project managers and client account managers with strategic services needs.

In his prior role as Senior Discipline Manager for Construction, Herndon oversaw the completion of the U.S. Highway 80 Improvements project in Brandon. The project included widening the existing two-lane roadway to 3 lanes, upgrading and installing a new traffic signal, adding sidewalks, and replacing the bridge with a more aesthetic box bridge.
He also supervised the Entergy Hinds 2 Black Start Project. Waggoner assisted Entergy Mississippi, Inc. on the installation of a combustion turbine at the existing Hinds Entergy Facility in Jackson. Oversight included safety, interface, and quality.
Herndon joined Waggoner in 2018, bringing over 20 years of experience in project management of new construction, including tanks, water line treatment plants, buildings, and water wells in Mississippi and Louisiana.
