JACKSON, Miss. – June 22, 2020 – Waggoner Engineering is pleased to announce that Kyle Grantham, PE, CFM, has joined the firm as a Project Engineer in Hydrology & Hydraulics.
In his new role, Grantham will perform modeling, analysis, design of hydraulic structures for roads and bridges, watershed assessment and management plans, as well as other related services.
“We are very fortunate to have Kyle join the Waggoner team,” said Bill McDonald, Chief Technical Officer at Waggoner. “He has worked on water resources projects in the public and private sectors for almost ten years. The depth of his knowledge and experience will add great value to the services we provide our clients.”
Before joining Waggoner, Grantham was a water resources engineer for Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. in Nashville, where he designed bridge and culvert replacements, developed floodway models, and performed low-hazard dam inspections.
As a hydraulic design engineer for the Mississippi Department of Transportation, Grantham performed roadway hydraulic design and hydraulic bridge design for numerous projects statewide.
He also worked as a hydrologic technician for the Agricultural Research Service for the United States Department of Agriculture, maintaining stream monitoring sites and collecting samples, among other duties.
Grantham is a registered Professional Engineer in Alabama. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Mississippi.
