JACKSON, Miss. – July 15, 2020 – Waggoner Engineering is pleased to announce that Mohamed Kacem, Ph.D., GISP, PMP, ACP, is joining the firm as a Senior Discipline Manager – Client Account Manager for Geospatial and Asset Management.
Kacem brings over 20 years of experience in the design, implementation, and operation of asset management platforms for water and sewer utilities for some of the country’s largest municipal systems, such as New York, Washington DC, Baltimore, Cleveland, and Dallas.
“His capabilities in data analytics and overall program management will add to Waggoner’s existing offerings to take our client service to the next level,” said Bill McDonald, Chief Technical Officer at Waggoner.
Kacem was a senior program manager at IBM in Dallas, Texas, before joining Waggoner. There, he supported energy, environment & utility clients worldwide, developing solutions that fit their needs as part of their digital transformation.
While at Authentix in Addison, Texas, Kacem managed teams of over 100 while delivering programs for a diverse group of manufacturing, pharmaceutical, oil, and gas clients. He spearheaded the implementation of artificial intelligence solutions to multiple clients using cloud-based technologies and streamlined customer insight analytics.
Kacem holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a PhD. in Civil Engineering- Water Resources from Laval University in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada.
Jimmy Bradley, GISP, CFM, Waggoner’s first discipline manager for GIS, is now the Manager of State Mapping Programs, where he will continue to mentor staff and service clients he has helped cultivate over the past 15 years.
