JACKSON, Miss. – December 2, 2020 – Sheila Williams, P.E. has joined Waggoner Engineering as a Senior Project Engineer, the firm announced today. She will be working with our Water and Wastewater division.
Willams previously worked as a consulting engineer on water supply, wastewater, and road projects for various clients. She also has extensive experience with Community Development Block Grants.
She spent a decade with the Mississippi State Department of Health in various roles, including Engineering Services Director. She worked extensively with all public water systems in the state to ensure their compliance with State and Federal Safe Drinking Water Act requirements and state minimum design standards.
She is a member of the American Water Works Association, the National Society of Professional Engineers, and the Mississippi Water and Pollution Control Operators Association.
A licensed Profesional Engineer in Mississippi and Kentucky, Williams holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mississipi State University.
