JACKSON, Miss. – January 22, 2021 – Waggoner Engineering is excited to announce that Franklin Hines, PE has joined the firm as a Senior Project Engineer in our Jackson office. He will be responsible for helping establish Waggoner’s bridge engineering capability.
He has almost 40 years of experience in engineering, project management, quality assurance & control, and construction engineering services on major bridge projects.
“Waggoner is very fortunate to have someone of his caliber join our organization,” said Chief Technical Officer Bill McDonald, PE. “Franklin is a Mississippi native as well, so it’s good to welcome him home.”
Franklin comes to Waggoner after an 18-year career with Figg Engineering Group working on projects across the United States that included the Abraham Lincoln Bridge in Kentucky and Indiana, Four Bears Bridge in North Dakota, and the Fuller Warren Bridge Replacement in Florida.
He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Mississippi State University.
