JACKSON, Miss. – August 12, 2021 – Waggoner Engineering, Inc., a full-service economic development, planning, program management, and engineering firm, has hired Scott Phillips, PE, to serve as Vice President of the Power and Industry Division.
Phillips will lead Waggoner’s strategy for serving power and industry clients and growing this vital segment of the business.
“Scott’s extensive experience makes him a perfect fit for this important role at Waggoner,” said Emad Al-Turk, President and Board Chairman. “He will lead the day-to-day operations and be instrumental to its continued growth in our rapidly evolving industry.”
Phillips has over 36 years of experience consulting in the civil and environmental engineering industry, including water resources, water treatment, ecological studies and regulations, utilities, and construction.
He served in senior management and executive roles in small and large national and international firms. He led federal and industrial practices that produced over $100 million in annual revenue.
A Registered Professional Engineer in Mississippi, Phillips holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering Technology from Mississippi State University.
