JACKSON, Miss. – August 29, 2021 – Waggoner Engineering, Inc., a full-service economic development, planning, program management, and engineering firm, announced the hiring of Kenneth C. Griffin, Ph.D., PE, CM-ICMA, as a Program Manager and Ivy Wolfe as an Administrative Assistant.
Griffin has over 40 years of water resources management and utility experience and expertise, including; administration, strategic planning and forecasting, capital program management, facility maintenance management, external funding procurement, negotiating, and policymaking.

BCEE, Senior Discipline Manager for Watershed and Coastal. “As a highly recognized professional in his field, Ken comes to us with over 40 years of valuable experiences in water resource management. His acquired skills and talents will help us increase our capacity and enhance our client delivery in several growing disciplines.”
Griffin has also served as the principal engineer at MSEG in Florida; general manager of BJWSA in South Carolina; assistant county administrator/director of operations and management, Hillsborough County (FL); and general manager of Pearl River Valley Water Supply District (Jackson, MS).
An award-winning licensed Professional Engineer in six states and an American Public Power Association Certified Power Manager, Griffin holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership from the University of Mississippi, a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of California, a Master of Science in Limnology, Ecosystems from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, Chemistry and Air Quality from the University of California-Irvine.
Wolfe will provide day-to-day administrative support for the company’s office in Hernando.

Before joining Waggoner, Wolfe served in administrative roles at Hollingsworth Paving and Budget Rental Car.
Wolfe holds a Bachelor of Multi-Disciplinary Studies from the University of Mississippi.
