JACKSON, Miss. – November 2, 2021 – Waggoner Engineering, Inc., a full-service economic development, planning, program management, and engineering firm, is pleased to welcome Jaynae Young and Lavaskie Clark.
Young has almost a decade of experience within the architecture, planning, and design communities, including project management, business, and economic development.
As a planner based in our Jackson office, she will be assisting with delivering complete and nuanced planning services and providing greater depth of services for more complex, inter-discipline community improvement opportunities.

Young was a project manager at Seabold Studio, working with schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
She also worked as a planner for the City of Jackson in the Office of Economic Development and Historic Preservation. She served as an assistant with the Department of Facilities and Construction Management at Jackson State University.
Young holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Mississippi State University and a Master of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning from Jackson State University.
As a GIS analyst, Clark will be working with a core team to manage large and small GIS projects for environmental applications, including watershed management and stormwater projects.
Before joining Waggoner, he assisted with document management systems for RJ Young.
Clark served as a volunteer for IT support with the Mississippi AFL-CIO (American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations), providing technical support and troubleshooting and redesigning and rebuilding the organization databases.
Clark holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Jackson State University.
