American Rescue Plan Act

On March 11, 2021, President Biden signed the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), which established the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund, to provide $350 billion in emergency funding.

In addition to helping these governments address the revenue losses they have experienced, it will help them cover the costs incurred responding to the public health emergency and provide support for recovery – including through assistance to households, small businesses, and nonprofits, aid to impacted industries, and support for essential workers.

Waggoner’s 20 years of experience in oversight of Federal Funding programs allow us to provide insight and guidance on how to maximize the use of ARPA funds while ensuring compliance with Federal requirements for uses of funds.

For an overview of the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds program including expanded use of eligible uses, see the fact sheet.
