Waggoner has been engaged with the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) under a Hydraulics master agreement since 2012.

In that time, we have been tasked with 18 assignments across the state, most within the geographic boundaries of the Memphis and Vicksburg Districts.

Project Details

Some of the projects include bridge/culvert replacements and flood reduction by developing hydraulic and hydrologic models, completing FEMA regulatory analysis, scour analysis, stream stability, channel instability, and ecosystem restoration studies in support of construction projects.

Waggoner’s work for MDOT also included a fish passage design and assistance with fish species survey relating to an endangered species of fish within the boundaries of the Vicksburg District of USACE, in Copiah County, Mississippi.
